You may develop confusion, irritability, headache, heart rhythm problems, dizziness, fainting, nausea, vomiting, visual problems and fatigue. Your skin may be dry from lack of sweat, or it may be moist. Heatstroke is a life-threatening emergency condition that occurs when your body temperature is greater than 104 F (40 C). If left untreated, heat exhaustion can lead to heatstroke. With heat exhaustion, your body temperature rises as high as 104 F (40 C), and you may experience nausea, vomiting, weakness, headache, fainting, sweating and cold, clammy skin. Exercise-associated collapse is feeling lightheaded or fainting immediately after exercising, and it can occur especially if you immediately stop running and stand after a race or a long run. The block now will allow weather systems to move eastward out of the Plains but they will be passing near or to our south and that puts us in the potential for some gloom and doom weather. That should allow the pressure gradient to relax a bit as the day goes on and winds will start to ease later in the day. It will still be breezy with highs in the 50s but the low to the northeast should start to pull out to the east. Thursday will be a nice day but again a storm to the northeast and high pressure to the northwest leaves us in a tight pressure gradient. Tonight will be a cold and mostly clear night with a bit of a breeze. There will be a bit of a wind and temperatures will be in on the chilly side with highs mostly in the 50s. That leaves us in partly sunny skies for today. Clouds are to the northwest but it appears that the more unstable part of the atmosphere will be to our north and northeast for the next 3 days. Low pressure is developing near Nova Scotia and that low will be around for the next 3 days. We are done with yesterday’s cold front and we are done with rain for the week and the weekend.
